What's the serial number Glen?

I've known about this one for more than 10 yrs... I just didn't know who owned it, or where it ended up. Nice to finally see some pics of it.

I was shown a complete set of detailed photos of this guitar including the jackplate and the wiring loom just recently. It is real

Seriously that's cool, we're unlikely to see another for sale on the open market in a long while.

Is $100k a bargain? Who knows....but if it's all-original and legit, I don't think that's far off. Go find another one that's cheaper.

I am a bit confused. If this is V109, wouldn't this have been the 30th (V80-V109) one made? I thought there were only 28 made in 1958?

The 325 scale length is actually larger than 4/5 scale; the scale proportion is 83.83~% (vs. 80%).

325 scale = 20.75"
standard RIC 300 series scale = 24.75"

Do the math!

So to be clear, there were 28 "Lennon-esque" 325's made in 1958, just not necessarily in the serial number sequence of V80 through V107? Any idea what the 28th 325 from 1958 serial number would be?

Why do I get the feeling that this information will somehow be used against us.
