They sure did a good job chipping this up. Nice bass though.

Unfortunately there are 'seminar' bidders whose only purpose in life are to be idiots. These morons have no intent to buy, they just bid and ruin it for everyone else.
Of course eBay will do nothing if one of them actually wins and backs out of the deal.

Actually, the winning bidder had placed his highest bid prior to all other ones (except the very first one at $1,300).
Probably the other bidders tried to take the auction but finally did not want to go that high. Looks like no-one did seminar bids on this auction.

ya but that was one sweet well preserved old ric bass ... checkered binding etc ...
