Bruce Springsteen and Rickenbackers

I knew Steve Van Zandt uses a Rickenbacker quite often, however I'd never seen Bruce with a Rick...I always wondered what 12 string he used on songs like The Ties That Bind and Loose Ends. I always assumed it was a Fender XII due to him using one during the 78 tour, but now seeing these pics, taken from The River era, I might be inclined to believe he used Ricks on these songs...
Interestingly Bruce has recently used Gibson ES-335 12 string, as documented in the Working On A Dream making of DVD where he plays a beautiful sunburst on This Life and Kingdom of Days...
