I bought the pre-wired 5 control harness from Rickenbacker and three new toaster pickups. I can't figure out the schematic and want to wire it like a 345. I am rescuing an old trashed Ric
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=406719 I tried searching but couldn't find anything i'm sure it is here somewhere I just can't find it. If you can help me with a photo or simple drawing or if you can tell me exactly where on which pots to solder the pickup wires it would really help me.

On standard RIC wiring, the hot leads of the pickups are wired to the selector switch. The neck and middle pickups are wired together to the same lug on the selector switch. The shielding is grounded to the casing of the nearest pot.

Thank you very much helps me I couldn't figure out what to do with the three pups and a three way switch. I guess this is how it is?
1. When the selector switch is down Bridge Pup only
2. When selector switch in middle all three pups are on
3. When the selector switch is up the neck and middle are on with each other the entire time.
4. Blend knob does something with neck and middle pup
Interesting this is my first Ric and I just sort of fell into it when I decided to rescue it. I did find a pic on Ebuy which di help me compare it to the schematic and I think I actually could see what was going between the pic and the schematic.

Anyway here is the pic.

Indeed. The 5th knob is a second volume pot to the neck, or in your case, neck + middle, to help balance the output.
