The worst piece of **** that could happen! My Model 1993 Sam Ash reissue was stolen some time in the last 2-3 weeks along with another Ric, a 360WB in Mapleglo. Please help me keep an eye out for them! :(

Frank, that's terrible news!! Stealing guitars is so low...can't believe people are capable of doing that..

We'll all keep an eye out. I can't imagine that a rare guitar like could float around long before we find it somewhere. And I hope when that happens, the thief can get his dues as well.

Best of Luck getting these back Frank.

There's a special place in HELL for the Lowlifes that steal people's instruments. It will revisit them . . .

Frank - we already managed to find about 4 stolen instruments and they were returned to their owner. Make sure you have a copy of the police report with the serial numbers.
Make sure to scan nearby pawn shops, the first case we had a pawn shop that had one of the stolen instruments said they don't know about the other one and later - sold it on ebay.
The owners got into jail, not only he sold known stolen goods he also sent it to another state, making it a federal offence (Trafficking of stolen goods across state lines).

Also - make sure to search ebay every once in a while.
I can guarantee you it will pop there at one point, you just need to catch it (unless we see it first).

Good luck!

Hi Folks,

ZL3306 has turned up on Reverb; https://reverb.com/item/49996112-ricken ... leglo-ohsc

It's a shop in Tyler Texas.

I've sent a message to Frank, who reported the. Just echoing it here in case someone knows him and gives him a heads-up.

I hope it works out OK.

Cheers,

I know (or knew) the guy who owns Classic Axe. I bought a Rick (660/12) and a couple amps (Laney in 1998 and Vox Cambridge in 2000) from him when he was in Manassas and Gainesville, VA. The guy's first name is Russ - I don't know his last name. He was always a stand up honest guy. I expect he has no knowledge that this is a stolen guitar. I expect he will make it right.

Hi Folks,

I messaged Frank (Hi Frank!) who reported this years ago and he said not to worry as it was located by the Police sometime afterwards, but he'd settled with his insurance by then. The current dealer has no case to answer for.

Just goes to show that things do turn up, eventually.

Cheers,

Probably should be fixed in the registry, maybe with a link to this thread.
