That's a Charango. The archtop is a Gibson L-50 from the early 50'ies.

Haha, that is a chromatic accordion. It is made in Italy, and the maker is Ballone Burini. My main instrument, not only my main accordion.Rubsoul wrote:Hey Lars,

the "wall of noise" as my Mrs. calls it.. not much, but 5 watts is enough to rattle a Single Wide . Funny how in my youth I fell prey to the assumption of "BIGGER=LOUDER=BETTER" now days my wallet and my back are both glad I've been won over by 5 tube watts and an SM57.

LOL ! Yes, you do understand our climate herexpitt wrote:and maybe supplied with humidity regulation.... in Singapore climate ?Grey wrote:I hope that room is lined with steel and accessed via a vault door.
I have a dehumidifier running 24/7 , airconditioning set to run 5 hours a day (in the afternoon) and air cleaner running 24/7.
The room is maintained at 25degC and on an average of 50% RH.
Dehumidifier collects about 1 litre of water a week.
In my country, our humidity reading is above 80% RH most of the time and average temperature of 29degC.
I used to be able to jam in the room. But with excessive GAS, I no longer have the space. That is the reason why I built trolleys for my guitar racks which I push out of the room whenever I need to play.
Otherwise I have another rig in the living area or just go acoustic
