NGD: Epi EJ-160e

Can we talk about how cool these guitars are since the redesign?
Based on the Texan profile now, I believe.
Sounds amazing, and I got a great deal on eBay. The neck shape is great too - like a 50s LP but it doesn't go out as far. I guess it's a compromise with people who were expecting the slim taper.

This was the previous model:
More bulbous and it had that utterly weird headstock.
The new one is based on the Texan shape as I mentioned, so it's sleeker and looks much more like the Gibson.

Nice score, Dan. Will you be using regular acoustic strings on it? Or flatwounds like some Lennon fans?

D'Addario Chrome .011s. But I might switch to regular acoustic strings eventually. I don't plan on using the mag pickup much.
