Would you call this a tribute band nowadays?

Not the Byrds by a long stretch... but not a bad showing by Gene backed by a competant band.
Forget the hype about them being The Byrds, and it's not such a bad live performance.
Gene and his not-the-Byrds band also perforemed Turn Turn Turn on the same Solid Gold show. I haven't seen that anywhere. Would be nice if someone could post that as well.

I've always loved Gene's voice. And I have a growing respect for his writing. Always liked his writing, but now even more. Too bad he and the Byrds had to part company. RIP, Geno.
