This is the 15th year of the fabulous International Pop Overthrow Festival, where there's always an abundance of Rickenbackers and Vox amplifiers blasting out pop-rock music. Shows are scheduled starting March 15 & 16 in Phoenix, then April 4 - 6 in Detroit, April 11 - 14 in Nashville with scheduled shows in Chicago, New York (Spring and Fall), London (Spring and Fall), Liverpool (at the Cavern for the 11th year) and many more. There as many as 25 bands playing a night in some cities, so it's a great way to hear a lot of exciting original music.

My group, The Raves is traveling from Atlanta to Nashville to play on Saturday night April 13 at the National Underground. Check out a show near you and visit http://www.internationalpopoverthrow.com for all the details.

Cool!

My old band played the IPO once, about ten years ago. We were stoked until we learned it was a mid-afternoon gig on a Saturday. All six people in the audience were very supportive.

This club is pretty small and unlike the IPO event in bigger cities like New York, London or L.A., there is only the one venue in Nashville. Besides, with all the homeless people we plan on getting in the door, we should have a fairly large audience. 8)
