Hi Guys-

After playing this incorrectly for over 30 years, I finally got off my butt and charted out both parts:

For years, I thought Roger played what is actually the Crosby part, while I thought David played open chords down by the neck...no, no, NO!

After watching the lip synched clips from "Hollywood A Go-Go" & "Shivaree"...well, it was quite a revelation.

Interestingly, when Roger does the song live now, he plays the Crosby part!!

Best, Christian

PS - Note, is is not necessary to drone the low E strings during the first three figures of the McGuinn part, but I find that it gives the song a cool kind of 'Urgency", having the low 5ths ring out during those few seconds.

Hi, Christian:

I must admit that I don't really understand the transcription!!! Would it be possible for you to transpose it to a more traditional one, with 6 lines (EADGBE,etc)?
Something like this?

E------------------------------------------------
B---------2---------3--------2----------------------
G-----0-------4-------4-----------------------------
D------------------------------------------------
A------------------------------------------------
E------------------------------------------------

Thanks, Karl

Hi, Christian:

I forgot to ask. But, even better, would you be able to SHOW us how to play it via a YOUTUBE video? :D
