Buying a Rick with a neck repairs?

Would you buy a Rick which had a neck repair? Whilst on the search for my first 12 string Rick I've come across a 360/12 that has had, what looks like a serious neck repair at the heal. Seller states the repair was done professionally. It obviously priced accordingly, but is it a bad idea buying a Rick which has had neck repair?

Well that looks like the very one! Now being sold in the UK. So from the previous thread it sounds like an ok buy?

Yeah, I doubt it's gonna fall apart on you. You can always PM Collin for more info since he owned it when it was repaired...

That I have, good eye CJ!
Not ony that, but I did the repair myself. I'm not a professional repairman....so I suppose it isn't "professionally repaired," but it's a very solid guitar and a deal if you can live with repairs.
I didn't do any refinishing, it was purely functional repair. The guitar had a clean break near the heel (IMO a less critical area than the usual breaking point behind the nut). I repaired the neck and filled any gaps (there were some chips in the wood) with the appropriate epoxy. It's very solid.
Good player. Larger neck profile if I recall, but it plays well and sounds good. I don't know what it is selling for you, but when I sold it...it was less than the value of its parts collectively. That's a deal!

Many thanks Collin for the reply, this sounds like a real possibility for me. Cheers
