Well done George!

That's all three of the stock sold then - me, Mart The Bass, and your good self. :D

They didn't hang around - only listed from last Monday, and now all gone!

Nice one George,

Mine arrived this afternoon but it's on the cold side so it's waiting in its box getting to room temp before I open the box.
Like you said a good deal, Sound Affects we're great to deal with a gave me a more than reasonable trade value on my F#%%*r as well. Enjoy it mate.

Same UV process as the 4003. I'm proud to say that according to Ben at Ric, I have the very 1st 4004Cii made with the UV finish & 2-piece flame maple neck. It's a Mapleglo beauty, and remains one of my favorite basses to this day. :D

Well finally got a chance to have a noodle albeit on the iPad using amplitube but it gave me an idea. The neck suits me just fine, a little wider at the nut than I'm used to but, hey I need the workout, however this is offset by the increased comfort from the 5th onwards.

Sound wise, quite modern, less aggressive than I expected but very usable. Toggle down is my fave at the mo and hints most at the Rick sound. Build quality is very nice, a few little imperfections in the finish that some might get anal about (but I don't) - it all adds character. I'll probably need to tweak it a little to drop the action slightly but its very playable out of the box (I am a bit of a girl and set my Status sub millimetre at the 12th - that's graphite for yer).

Looking forward to getting this out on a gig!
