Do these two gel together? Trying to decide whether to get a JB with the 325c64. Your anecdotal experiences/opinions/insights/suggestions are eagerly and respectfully sought.

HI George,
It works very nice, but to my ears ,only in normal, not in treble boost position. But that depends to your amp too.
Greetings

Peter, thanks for your reply. As I'm still educating myself, what strings do you use, by the way?

Hi George,
I use Pyramid flats, or Tomastik Infeld flats, at least 12s, better are 13s.

Just my personal opinion, but I got the sound I was after with an MXR Dyna-Comp. I tried a J Box and it hissed when engaged, so I sent it back. The Dyna-Comp is dead quiet, and costs about a third of the J Box.

Thomastic Infeld 12's are one of my favourite string types for the 325. The factory Rickenbacker compression wound set of 12's are not bad at all either, especially if you're looking to capture a brighter sound
