Some 4003s have appeared on OZ ebay with "1 year Australian Warranty". The ask is tear-inducing...

The asking price screams "in the days of on-line shopping, the concept of a distributor needs to be reviewed?".

Hopefully the asking price is based on basses coming from the japanese distributor.

The asking price is even higher than the few Rickies for sale in Perth's music shops!!!

I will be very happy to support the new distributor. But not if it cost me $1500 more than buying a warrantyless Rickie from a fly by night reseller in the US!
