if it has the hockey stick head, it's a bass I formulated by tracing the body of a fender performer at manny's music, and making it out of poplar, then giving it to lado instruments of Toronto for them to make a 3 piece maple hockey stick bolt on neck with Jackson style inlays on an ebony fretboard and painting it black. badarse type #1 bridge, early p-j alembic pickups specially located on the body with a custom alembic preamp made for me. Schaller m4 tuners and roto swing 66. it was still tacky when we left for England in nov. '88 to tour with maiden for a month on the seventh son of a seventh son tour. you can see it on some youtube vids. used on dirty weapons and method to the madness albums.

Do you still have this bass, Ron? I had an '87 Alembic Persuader for a few years with their P/J pickup set, I kind of wish I still had it.
