Met Ned
Met Ned
I did a gig last night at the Round Top arts center in Damariscotta, ME. I was introduced to Ned Steinberger, who was in the audience. He lives in an adjacent town. Real nice guy. Talked shop a little as my EUB uses the David Gage pickup, which Ned helped design.

You must have been on the Equator, going by your photos!chrisdski wrote:I did a gig last night at the Round Top arts center in Damariscotta, ME. Re: Met Ned
when I take pictures with my iPod , that will happen- don't know why. I email them to my mac, open with preview- all is upright. But they post sideways when I upload them here. Not the first time I've noticed it.
Re: Met Ned
iLife can be interesting!
The venue is very cool looking.

Re: Met Ned
The acoustics were great. I used an swr spellbinder blue w/o foh support and it just filled the hall with bass.

Re: Met Ned
I used to own and played for a while a CR4M, very interesting instrument. In the end, I sold it as I felt it pretty much sounded like my fretless ZON bass and wasn't worth using as even though it is a "stick" bass it was more trouble for me than the ZON to use.
Re: Met Ned
I felt the same way when I tried a NS stick- sounded like an electric fretless. I went with an Eminence EUB and have been very happy with the sound.
