What kind of Rickenbacker acoustic is James Burton playing here?

I believe it may be the one pictured on page 181 of the Smith book. It is labeled as a custom made acoustic.

Weird just having the same conversion on the C&J! Wouldn't it be close to the 385?

Yeah you mean the actual guitar in the video but what was it actually called was it a 385 or a Ric Rick custom

The 385 pictured on page 180 has triangle fretboard inlays. This one has block inlays. They are both jumbos.
