Thought I posted this Tuesday but evidently not

Roger LaVerne who played the organ on this classic passed away Monday

Tornados were the first UK group to top the charts in US.

Roy; I don’t know if you have seen this 45-minute interview featuring Roger La Verne and Clem Cattini talking about Joe Meek and all things Tornados. I suspect you may well have come across it before now seeing has it’s been up on YouTube for near five years – but just in case it’s of interest to others …

… during the course of which he was married 9 times
… being one-time marathon piano playing world record holder
… known throughout Mexico of the 1970s as El Lobo Plateado (“The Silver Wolf”)
