Next album?

Chris Squire has been saying here and there in interviews they are looking forward to doing a studio album with Jon Davison.
So, any rumors floating around when that might start to take shape? Wouldn't doubt they have been working on a few things here and there while on tour....and a pretty decent break between the end of the summer tour and Europe?
Makes you think...although I'm sure they do need some time off.

There is some speculation from one of Jon Davison's GH bandmates about Jon presenting an older song of his to Yes that GH found a bit TOO Yes-like to record. I've also read JD quoted as saying he shared some song ideas with the Yes guys that they were enthusiastic about. That's about all I've seen.....

Yup, lots of back and forth hints about an album. Most of the members have said something in various interviews but most have been a bit vague which leads to different interpretations by the fans. I think the general tone is:
Squire, as always, wants to record, Howe is cautious, JD seems very ready, Alan seems ready.
I thought there was also talk of a live CD of the current tour.
I think a new studio effort would be great.

I wouldn't put down a live album, but I would prefer something totally fresh to be honest. I figured nobody had any extra scoop, but fun to think about!

Well, I heard from the
horse's fish's mouth tonight, that an album should be in the works in the coming months.

I just hope they have fun making it and progress a little.
Isn't that what progressive rock was meant to be about, progression?
Fly from here was good, but I believe this lineup can now ace it!

"fresh" blood in the mix never hurts. It is possible to get it out early next year....especially if they are in the mood....

Anybody sniffed out any updates? They go back to touring in early March, which means they will likely be practicing some before that. My guess is their studio time is getting pretty short…..
Hoping for some great news this year!

I know nothing about the content but I do know that they are hard at work right now on a new album at Paul Allen's studio in Beverly Hills. I was also told they'd finish in March, and take a week off before hitting the road again.
