I wish someone makes a bass-shaped ABS case for Rics

this one. I have a Fender-shaped molded ABS case for my Fenders that is comfortable, lightweight, and much easier to transport and fit in the trunk than rectangular cases. I can fit a cord, leather strap and some sheet music in there too.
I don't feel safe schlepping a Ric inside a gig bag, no matter how well-padded they are.
Or does such a case exist and I just never came across one?

If I could find such cases that fit Ricks, I'd buy four of them right now!

I just can't use a gig bag, no matter what the guitards in my band say about how much easier they are to transport. I takes me a bit longer to move my gear into practice or gigs and the hard cases are bit tougher to store but the up side is I know my RIC's are all secure. I do own a large SUV so for now transport space is not an issue. It may very well be an issue next year when I look to down size my ride.

You can have one custom made and fitted by Ameritage Cases for a very reasonable price.

The ibanez ric copies had cases like that,but of course finding one might be a bit of a journey.
