NGD 360/12c63 - need a first Beatles riff ?

Hi,
No pictures yet, but my new 360/12c63 is apparently on the Fed Ex truck out for delivery today. Can anyone suggest a good Ric 12-string Beatles riff or song to try straight away? Maybe not too difficult, as I am a novice and for 12 strings have played nothing but my $160 Epiphone acoustic.
Thanks in advance . . .

I'd suggest either Day Tripper or Ticket to Ride.

Welcome aboard, Alan! I'm sure you'll get years of pleasure out of your c63. I know how much I love mine.
I would recommend trying the refrain lick from "Anytime at All." Very simple, yet chimes nicely.

Probably any Beatles number, or really any hooky, pop-y number that involoves picking strings will sound lovely. Actually you don't even need a song with a guitar part that involoves picking; strumming chords on a 12-string produces a nice, lush sound.

My advice: Get yourself a copy of The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" Recorded Versions Guitar (Hal Leonard). It contains notes and tablature for all the songs on the original British release. Most of the songs were recorded with at least one 12-string track, they're easy to learn, and all of them sound great with my c63.

If you have a chance, check out the youtube video I posted about the opening chord to A Hard Day's Night. It's from the isolated tracks of the original Beatles tape as shown to Randy Bachman by George Martin's kid.... Everyone had the chord wrong - including me
