Just baught my first 4000 Series "S" Rick Bass!
It's a 1988 Jet-Glo 4003s.
Sweeties Dot-Neck Bass I've ever owned!
The Neck is distinctly different from the standard 4001 or 4003 necks!
As far as the non-bound neck and body go, I've had about twenty years of enjoying the
beauty of my now ex-wife's early 90's Rickenbacker Fire-Glo 610, Six-String Solid-Body Electric Guitar!
She preferred the Fire-Glo 610 over a Maple-Glo 620 she could have had.
I have to say, I've always loved the look and sound of her Fire-Glo 610.
I really dig this 4003s, in Jet-Glo! It is so sweet to play and hear!
I love the differences between my; 1972 Fire-Glo 4001, 2006 Jet-Glo 4003 and, now, my 1988 Jet-Glo 4003s.
Each one of them, totally awesome in their own right!
