Hello finally getting around to fixing my '66 Ric 450. I am now into the wiring harness. I must admit I am not good at this but hey another challenge to learn. I am pretty sure I have it right so far and have only one question for now. My I question is - I have a black wire soldered on to the top of the treble volume pot. All the other wires are in sequence etc and this one is not attached on one end. Based on the length of the wire I am assuming this is the ground wire that gets soldered onto to bridge plate. Is this a correct assumption?

I have the neck pick up attached to the treble volume pot - ground wire on top of the pot and the live wire to the right side of the selector switch ( looking straight down at it underside of guard)

I have the bridge pick up attached to the bass volume pot -again the ground wire/shield on top of the pot and the live wire attached to the left side of the selector switch.

Hope that's correct.

Thanks for any and all help with this.

Yes.

Why do you have the pickups going to the volume controls the way you so? The Treble volume control is for the bridge pickup and visa versa. :?
