Been watching this one for grins, and it finally got a bid, but took forever.

Just a sad sight. Love the tail strap button, and the neck attachment. Ugh….. Could be cleaned up, but much of the value might be the OHSC.

This one ain't very happy either. It was put under a bed and left to rust for 15 years. The modded one at least got played.

Yeah, and that one even had its tuners put back on upside down. Guess it takes all kinds.

I hadn't seen the 2nd on on the Bay…not pretty either, but would likely clean up fairly well. Yeah, those tuners are just plain stupid.

I think both are good candidates for a short-scale single-pickup version of Todd Bradshaw's re-bodied 2030.

I thought about them, and even have the first body that I built sitting in a closet all by its lonesome, but that's a lot of money for a neck and some hardware that looks to be in pretty nasty condition. Plus....I think the next one would probably need to be a hollow body to keep things interesting. It's one of those "Do I really need another project at the moment?" kind of things.

Todd, if you ever go crazy and want to move the bound one, let me know. Yeah, like that will ever happen.
