Do you use a case humdifier with your Ric? What kind?

I am looking to get some case humidifiers for my Rics. I have two beautiful 360's that I gig with a lot in the Colorado area and surrounding dry states. I am concerned about taking my guitars on weekend trips into areas of 10% humidity.

What kind of humidifier do you use? Where do you put it?

I looked at the oasis but it seems it only clips to your case, the Ric case isn't designed that way.

Anyone everyone use a Herco humdifier? http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ ... MgodLG4Auw

Should I even worry about this if I am gigging 3 nights a week? Is there any harm to taking my Rics to bars and other environments that are dry, sometimes for a few days at a time?

Thanks!

I have the same humidifier in each one of my cases. Not sure how much they help, but never had a problem with my RICS and up here we go through some serious temperature extremes. Sometime extremely humid in summer months to damn right cold in the winter and very dry. So if anything it gives me some piece of mind and at that price you cant go wrong....

I've got those in all of my cases. Easy to use and won't make a mess. We've got fairly high mineral content well water here so I use distilled water in 'em...

I have found that as long as the room where you regularly store your guitars is reasonably hydrated for most of the year, and as long as you keep your guitar in its case when you are not playing it, relatively short expose to extreme humidity swings should have little or no effect on an instrument . . . it has only been when I have kept my guitars out of cases for prolonged periods, that I have had trouble.
