Hello all, I have a few questions for the experts. Tonight I looked at a 2006 MG 360. The guitar is in near mint condition. It has the "shorter" triangular inlays, toaster pick ups, (the owner bought this brand new,.. showed me receipts) . This struck me funny as I thought that the high gains were standard at that time. Any how, while testing the instrument out, I noticed that only the neck pickup worked while cord was plugged into the standard jack, and that only the bridge pick up worked while plugged into the ric o sound jack. I am familiar with the ric o sound as I have a 4003 and know about using a mono cable in the stereo jack. (only one pick up gets signal.) Something seems a bit messed up. Action was very low, (no buzz) and played fantastic. Seemed to me there was a little "back bow" , not alot, but seemed to be there a bit. No, I did not have a straight edge, just sighting down the neck. The price on this is less than half of a new guitar. Any thoughts? Should I be Leary of this one? Thanks......

If the neck looks OK, go for it. Electronics can be fixed and the value won't be much affected (if at all) if you do have to rewire the jack.
Even if it's a pickup issue, you'll still have a cheap guitar after replacing a pickup. BTW back in the day toaster pickups were an optional upgrade.

Thanks for the reply, When I asked about the toasters, he said that thats the way it came, it was in a store. Is it possible that the dealer ordered it that way?

Yep, sure is. Very popular in the mid-00's.

Couple o pics of my new baby! Ran the serial #s, it was built in the 3rd week of Jan. 2005. Comes with all paperwork, candy, and is in perfect shape. Owner said he never played it due to its small neck. I think its perfect! He had the electronics sorted out, just a loose connection. I cant tell you how happy I am with this purchase. Sounds like the "harps of Heaven". After a nice coat of Zymol....... Here she is! Not bad for just over 9 bills huh? Dig the on the back, Very Pretty indeed!

Oh yeah, the neck is dead straight too!
