Rickenbacker case too tight for in-case guitar humidifier?

I ordered some of these Herco Humidifiers: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ ... MwodUFEATQ
I have two 360s with the newer cases.
Are the compartments inside the case to tight when closed for humidity to distribute evenly throughout the case? Will a in case humidifier work with these cases?
