Tell me about this Toaster

I submit two images of the same pickup for forum scrutiny:

Writing on the plate shows the (alleged, as I have not tested) resistance.

The base plate and the "fanned" or crooked magnets suggest to me that this is a 60's toaster, but isn't the winding a little hot for that?
Also: I thought all toasters had little circles at either side of the "toaster slots" from the plastic molding process, but this toaster does not have any such circles.

It's a 60s toaster, good eye!

The little molding circles were gone by 1963/1964 - the crooked magnets are a giveaway that it's a 60's pickup as I can't recall seeing any reissues like this.

These pickups were all wound by hand so a 9K reading isn't beyond possibility. They're typically 7.5Kish but sometimes higher (or lower).
