1967 Ric 360/12

Post by bowser2533 »

I have a friend who has a 67 all original 360/12 in jet glow. This guitar has been in storage all this time. It is all original there is not a scratch on it anywhere. He told me they didnt make a lot of 12's in jet glow. The bad news is he is asking 6700.00 for it. Price too high? Need some input. Thanks Gary

That would be high even for a dealer price, let alone a private party. It's certainly not a "friend" price either, IMO.

$4k-$4.5k is more like it, I think (without seeing condition photos). JG is slightly rarer, but less collectible than Fireglo or even Mapleglo and it's nowhere near as rare as other period colors like Burgundyglo or Azureglo.

That's my $0.02 anyway, good luck.

Btw, like any 60s 12-string, be sure to check the neck angle for bridge adjustment. This is a big price factor...

That's a lot of money for that guitar. Granted, it's probaby very nice, but still. I wouldn't buy it.
