Hmm, the only Strat I can probably get ahold of is a '61 so that won't meet your objectives, sorry.

Lol...Nice! I'll settle for a Squier Japan JV 1982 62 reissue then?
On a serious note, most likely I'll settle for a 79-82 strat. These come up for sale in the 1000-1200 range quite frequently
here in PA at the Guitar Centers and Sam Ash, and on the Bay. I bought the Ric to try something different, but my heart is with the Strats.
