Hello, I'm a new guy here but have been playing Rickenbacker guitars for a few years. I currently only own a jetglo 360 but Have played and owned a 620, and an 80's 320 in the past. Anyhow I love these guitars and just recently I have decided that my 360 is going to be a keeper and I want to personalize it. I'm going to go for the black out look and replace my stock TRC and pickguard with black ones. I wanted to know if there are members here who would be interested in trading TRC's, Otherwise I think I'm going to end up painting the one I have lol I really don't want to drop $200 or spend weeks tracking one down on ebay. If anyone on here is interested our perhaps has advice on going about properly painting my TRC your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Painting your TRC is easy. Spray the whole thing black and then after it has dried, get a small little roller and gently roll across the raised RICKENBACKER letters with white paint.

For the pickguard it would be easier just to buy new black ones from Pickguardian. Great service. You can even ask them exactly what color black paint and brand they use so you can use the exact paint when you spray your TRC. I did that when I needed to paint my gold TRC. I bought the gold guards from them, they gave me the exact color code, and voila, my TRC and pickguards match perfectly
