It's my great pleasure to offer all of the membership here my personal invitation to join Music Aficionado, the members-only online community devoted to music, instruments, and audio.

It's somewhat like Flipboard in that there's plenty of curated content but you also have the option of adding links of your own and adding comments to posted material. It's all tied together with a bit of social media interaction as well.

Originally envisioned for use on the iPad, it now works on all browsers.

I just signed up, and about to explore the site...

Make sure you guys do at least a minimal profile and submit a photo. I notice that the member page doesn't display you fully until you do.

Also, note that they respond well to activity. In other words, they'll add additional RIC content in proportion to the Rickenbacker related participation.

The browser version works fairly smoothly, if not always intuitively, but the iPad app is really slick.

FYI, many of the top name musicians you see there are closely involved with this project so you can expect some good personal interaction.

I have not done much yet other than sign up because Chrome does not render the site very well -- however I have found Safari does admirably. Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend. Thanks for the invitation, Mr. Hall!

I can't get in with my older version of Safari; I'll have to wait until I buy a new computer, I think.

Chrome is doing a splendid job of rendering the site here . . . or at least the PC version is. Is that Chrome for MAC perhaps? Or IOS?

Signed up and have browsed a lot of content. Thanks for the invite!! Working well on Chrome for MAC and FireFox for me.

Fun site so far. This may sound weird but to get it to work in Chrome I had to stop Ghostery blocking... Facebook Analytics? Strange but true.
