Broken Tailpiece

Crisis! I just found that the tailpiece on my 1989 330/12 has broken (please see photo) I have owned the guitar from new and it has always been looked after.
I am aware of the exchange policy regarding these, but unfortunately the UK distributor does not list the 12 String one any more and we cannot buy items from the factory from here. Any suggestions or should I just forget it and just hang it on the wall?!

Did you contact Rosetti in the UK and/or RIC ?

Rosetti may not have them up on their website but they certainly have obtained them in the past if, in fact, they don't already have them in stock. All of our distributors are able to do the parts swap/replacement of our controlled logo items.

Thanks for the quick replies.
I e-mailed Customer Service at Rickenbacker attaching the photo, really just for information.
Thank you for the information re: Rosetti, Mr.Hall, much appreciated. It was too late in the day to speak to them but I will call them on Monday.

You might consider the trapeze tailpiece. I think they're less prone to stress failure than the R tailpieces.

Pleased to report very good service by Rosetti UK and the Rickenbacker factory: a new 12 string 'R' tailpiece was shipped immediately upon receipt of the broken one in Santa Ana and my 330/12 is up and running again: thanks to all.
Clifton: I take your point on board about the trapeze: I just prefer the original on this guitar.
