One body style that never got trademarked, and it got away. Compare the "original" Washburn Idol:

Yea I love that design. Nelson does a really good version of the combo 600. It wasn't trademarked? I wondered how Nelson managed to build them without getting in trouble. I think he calls his the "attache"
