1964 365 Restoration

I sent Larry Davis a wrecked '64 365 FG New Style for a restoration.
As you can tell by the "before" pic, it was in awful shape. Body couldn't be saved so…he made a new one!
The back was modded by a previous owner with a Tele style string thru. Needless to say, the back warped. More pics once finished.

Nice work!
I think I remember this body, did it have Van Ghent tuners? Cool project, can't wait to see the finished product.

Nope, it had Hi Gains, black guard and Grovers…...
All wrong parts, meh.

He's going to try and match the FG's from my '64 360S/12 and other '64 365 prototype...
In other words, nice dark FG with wide coverage.

Crying shame to see a 64 NS that was butchered so badly. Great project to bring it back though.
