As Kenny says, these are legit. Originally they were made up for a salesman's meeting, presented in a gold box to each attendee. The banner at the front of the room said "Rickenbacker is out in front" and lovely ladies modeled them for the group, along with some new T-shirt and jacket designs.

We were all younger then and the business was still fun.

However, the meeting was a bomb, so to speak, as it was held on January 17th, 1991 . . . just a few hours after Operation Desert Storm hit the news.

Anyway, the small quantity that were produced were eventually sold out or given away. I vaguely recall my wife carrying some of these towards the dumpster.

The men's version was to read 'Dickenbacker',...but was scrubbed at the last minute......

Darn; I was going to ask if there ₩ere any available in the boutique so I could buy one for my fiancé.
