Is there a picture of the "works" underneath the pick guard ?
Was the metal pick guard custom made ?

This is all I have from Paul so far. He's going to post more in the near future.

Great work and a nice pair of old solid-bodies!

Love to see an OG Rick get some love. Looks great.
Although...am I the only one who likes that brown stain color it was before?

I like it too - it's somewhere between antique furniture and V81, I kinda dig it. Then again, I'm guessing it looks better in the original photos than it did in person. Looks great now though.deaconblues wrote:

In person it was more like '70s "t**d brown". Not really nicely applied, and the middle stripe was covered up with it, too. Looks killer now!
All I wanna do is rock!

Yeah it wasn't so great in person. Not a pro job by any stretch. Paul said he had a crazy time sanding all that stain out.
