Nice playing, Johan. 
The Gretsch may allow for easier string-bending and vibrato and thus is more useful for blues, but, even with the stock hi gains, I think the Rick simply blows the Gretsch out of the water for shimmering 12-string folk-rock tones. There's no question which guitar won this shootout.
