Paul Boyer's Book

Promised I'd write a review once the book arrived. Got to love Amazon - order today and you have it the next day. Great book, great price - huge value.
I've collected a fair number of books on guitars, basses and amps. This is by far the best organized one of them all. Plus, top shelf photography and descriptions. I've never known much about Ric basses other than 4001, 4003 and the fact that there's 5s now and some that had one pickup etc.
I don't need to commit all the models to memory but the book is a fantastic resource. No fluff or filler, just quality content.
Paul - an outstanding job; your labour of love and joy. I'm sure they aren't paying you enough. I hope it runs into 2nd or 3rd editions and repay you for all your efforts for the many years it took to compile the data and photos.
Next to a Ric museum, the book is the next best thing to owning or playing all these models. Previously I couldn't possible interpret or understand all the models people talk about on the forum - but I can now.
Superb.
