Dear All Good People

Here is my first take using a Fender Jazz Bass, which was the most voted bass on the poll that I created at
http://miguelbass.com/2014/02/17/montre ... ***-quest/

I will make another version with the Rickenbacker, which was the runner-up.

Thanks for the Rick version! I do prefer it, tone-wise. I did re-listen to the Fender and it does sound very good too. But the Rick just tone has more complexity and has more character.
Thanks for the opportunity to do a "taste test."

Great comparison. I think on most days I'd go for the Ric sound - but really like both.

good execution on both plays!

It looked like the rick was on the bridge pickup. How was the Jazz Bass set up, pickup wise?
