Hello all, just got my 360/12c63 yesterday. Been dreaming of owning a 12 string ric since I was a kid. It's now my favorite guitar I've ever owned. Got a pretty good deal through a shop in Ill. Guitar Works, I found on gbase. Really fair, didn't charge for shipping, even held the guitar a few days with no deposit. Anyway, I'm so psyched on the guitar. It needs a bit of a setup though. Actions a bit high, bridge is doing that tilt forward thing. Can anyone recommend a luthier in NYC that is familiar with ric 12s and won't totally wonk it up? Thanks for any help. This site is an amazing wealth of information that I really appreciate.
-Steve :)

Hey thanks. Will definitely post some pics once I snap some. Another quick question. I want to send in the warranty card, but does not having it with the guitar lesson the value? It has the UPC with the serial and manufacture date and it seems that would be important to have. Would photocopying it be good enough? Thank you in advance.

I talked to RIC customer service about the warranty card (don't worry about sending it in by the time they require. They allow for some time past what the card says.) and I asked them about sending them a photocopy. No deal. Have to send the real one and just photocopy yours and keep that in the case. With these new printers and the right paper, my card in my case looks just like the real one. Go to Staples or Kinkos or somewhere and get it photocopied for two bucks if you don't have a decent printer at home.

The tilted bridge is easy to fix. Just twist the screws until you get the high end down, (don't worry about the action height yet), get it all level, and then start working on the proper height.

I've been looking for a new 360/12c63, but haven't been able to find a dealer that has one. I've had a few say they were on order, but don't have any idea when they will make more.

If you know of a dealer that has one (hopefully at a reasonable price), please let me know.

Hey, Rudy's in NYC (soho) has one. They seemed unwilling to budge on price, (quoted me around $3800) which lead me to gbase where I found mine. Worth a shot reaching out to them though.
