would a 1984 325 model fall under the V series? And would the mid 80's model be axactly the same as the early to late 90's V63 model?

Pretty sure that's a V, yes. Same model, but an '84 will be way cooler than a 90's one IMHO.

is there any particular reason about it being cooler? or is it just age? would there be any hardware differences or construction wise difference compare to the 90's V series?

I'd bet the neck is much thinner, which most people seem to like. There are numerous quirky differences in the construction you can find if you spend enough time searching around here. I can't remember off the top of my head. Plus, any pre-99 toasters are "hot" toasters, which are pretty much like hi gains with a different cover, IIRC.
