Isn't this the gloss Walnut model that Jason refers to on his recent posting???

To my eyes, that one doesn't look gloss, but the oiled finish? Nice figure on the walnut, and that is what would make me get one is the figure. Straight grain wouldn't do much for me on this one.

I have really started to like the maple neck, and think it could look fantastic on a Ruby!

Could be, but it seems very reflective to me, especially when he angles it a couple of times and it catches a light source.
