360/12c63 Production Date

Quick question: One RRF member has claimed that production of the 360/12c63 began in 2005, but I've read conflicting information elsewhere. When was the C63 introduced?

It was introduced in 2002, along with the rest of the C Series. The earliest models started shipping in February 2005, after that year's winter NAMM show. These early C63 models were wired with Ric-O-Sound instead of dual mono jacks. This was corrected in the next production run.

Thanks so much for clarifying things, Jake. I should have known to trust what I heard here over other "sources" online. Why such a long delay between the introduction and the actual production of the first C63 models?
