What Year Is My Guitar?

I have an Electro ES-16 tulip design. The unusual aspect of the guitar is the truss rod cover that has a metal plate attached to the plastic cover. I know it's not a Rickenbacker, but can someone let me know if there is a guide to tell the month and year it was made? I know Rickenbacker has a chart, but can't find an Electro chart. Thanks!

Hi Jack, what's the full serial number? This should be stamped onto the bridge.

Stamped on the bridge is CC 980 or 380. My eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be.

It is in the register as a collected Item - CC380. Many of these fine guitars end up butchered for their vintage parts. I am glad this one has found an owner that appreciates it.

Yes, I just tried to register it and it showed that it's a collected item as you said. I will surely take good care of this instrument! You can be sure of that!
