Where can I find a used case for my new (to me) 620?

I picked up a 1990 620/6 the other day. I've had my 360 for years and always sort of wanted a solid body Ric to compliment it. Anyways, the 620 is great, but unfortunately the seller didn't have the original case. I'll spare you pics of how hideous the case is that I did get with it.

I know it's possible to get new cases. But they're quite expensive. I just spent a bunch of money on a guitar! Without waiting for one to pop up on eBay, does anyone have any other suggestions for places that sell used Ric stuff?

Call around to some Rick dealers; Pick of the Ricks, Musicians Friend...there are lots of them that deal in new and used guitars. Put a post on the "Rickenbacker Wanted" section of the Marketplace.

Just as an update, Ron had an extra case, which is on its way to me now. Thanks Ron.

As an aside, I had the first band practice with the 620 today. I have a number of guitars (8, to be exact). They all come in and out of rotation. But 4 years ago, I bought my '95 Les Paul. Since then, I have not had a single practice or gig where I didn't play that Les Paul. It's the only guitar that ALWAYS gets used. Tonight, the Les Paul sat in the stand the entire evening for the first time since I got it. I'm loving this 620.

Glad you got your case and are loving the 620. The solid bodies are a little under appreciated by many, but they are great guitars. The 620s, in particular, are incredibly versatile.

I too love my 620s! I also prefer the new RIC cases for them.

I have 3 - my 77 JG 620, my 02 BG 620VB and my 91 JG 610 all in the new style cases.
