Got a room recording from our gig with the Winery Dogs. Even with the bad recording, you can hear the '68 doing what it does best.

Good band Scott! The bass sounds great too. That an original tune?

Yeah. We started as a bar band, but have since gone all original.

It's one of the early non-horsie pups I presume. It has the aluminum base. When I bought it in 1992, the pickup was pretty well degaussed. I sent it to Lindy Fralin to be regaussed and rewound. Past five years or so, it's been getting weaker. I'll have to address that issue before too long.

Like the band, like the tune and love the tone! I have had luck just putting little magnets on the shoes (while on the bass) for like an overnight period peps them up for a while. I put them on the thin edge near the bend as to not mark up the chrome on the face of the shoe. You have any other posts of your band's originals? and link??

Not much solid material yet. We're finishing up a CD that we'll be pushing at next years gigs.
Being a bar cover band, things got off to an awkward start.
