370 truss rod

The truss rods on my 370 6 are at their clockwise limit for an underbow correction. I am sure I will do some damage if I push them any further. Is there a way to 'restore' the truss rod action for future underbow problems? Thanks!

If your 370 is from the late 90s to very early 2000s, it is possible the nut at the body end is pulling into soft maple and it will continue to do that. Look at that end of the rods and see. If they are, there are ways of dealing with this issue that have been covered in posts past. Take a look and see.

It's a Saturday project, Steve, but popping the rods out and dripping some water-thin super glue into the recesses at the body end of the neck will harden up the shoulders of the counterbore and help alleviate things. A couple of washers on the headstock end will help, too.
You'll have to remove the strings and neck pickup to do this properly. Masking tape around the body-neck joint area is a good idea, too.
