Andertons? Really shamefull, and why I think stores that have no clue about what they sell should not be allowed to carry that brand (true for every brand); next to their shamefully lack of a broader music knowledge!

You could tell just by the way they were holding the guitars that they had no clue what so ever about RICs. Would you buy a RIC based on that video? I think not.

Misidentifying FC Hall as Adolph Rickenbacker was the really dumb one. sigh.

Yes, you're absolutely right!!

I have commented on these two idiots (and this video in particular) before; a real pair of unfunny, total arseholes, who truly make me embarrassed to be British.

Based purely on these two plonkers, I won't buy anything from Andertons, even if the price is right!

We're not all as stupid as these two............... and I hope your forehead gets better!! :D
only my opinion of course!

We have plenty of A&&-worthy Americans, too. All we can do is laugh and know that most of us are able to better represent intelligent beings! 8) For humans, anyways.

I just have a gut feeling that humankind is doomed, in the long run. Good thing too, for the Earth and it's other lifeforms. :D

I enjoyed these two "learning on the spot" about Rickenbackers. Haven't you done that when you picked up a "different" guitar in a shop? What's the point of bad-mouthing them and calling them names? I had to learn as well the first time I tried one. I'm sure I'm not the only one, nor the two fellows in the video. I'm a Rickenbacker fan, but wow, such harshness from some members.

Addendum: By the way, the two players were not bad-mouthing the guitars. They liked them just fine, and said they were very cool.

These are sales professional who should know beforehand what they are selling. Not much wisdom needed for that.

This is from a Rickenbacker dealer!!! It's not bad mouthing, it's calling them out on their total lack of knowledge on a product they sell.

Alright, fine, but it is bad-mouthing and name-calling. Obviously these two players have heard of Rickenbackers, but they had not actually played one. So,they learned and "discovered" things about the guitars while a camera was rolling. I thought it was enjoyable watching them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoyed their demo, and other demos they have done. It would be nice if other forum members here spoke up, but on this, as usual, I may stand alone. Now go jangle, or better yet, play some killer distorted leads, like the cat on the left!

I'm with you, Joe. I found the "stone throwing" to be more off-putting than the video.
