Low quality

Aw, they're not so bad. I think quality is better now then say, 2000-2005.

Its funny you mention quality,i have two 360V64's, a 12 from 1989 and a 6 from 1999.
The 89 12 is much better,the 99 has what seems like a small bit of binding shrinkage around the upper horn that you can actually feel the ridge between the wood and binding,and a drill hole that was covered up before finishing in the neck heel!

Perhaps they're not so bad but for what is perceived as a premium instrument things are being overlooked. I fear can't keep up with demand may become can't seem to get anyone to buy a new one. Buy up good ole guitars quick and enjoy. Your hard earned dollars should buy top notch gear like it used to. Mr hall won't be upset for he has a thick skin!

As the owner of 2 very fine '04 4004's,that are as well made and finished as anything i've seen the company produce from any age,i must object..... 8)
(Even if i do have a clownglo Laredo....) :P

Did the plastic material of the pick guards change at anytime?

They are different on my two guitars ,in look and feel.
